A brake system is only as good as its pads allow it to be. For this reason Ferodo Racing exclusively provides high performance brake pads for racing brakes and street cars alike. Ferodo is a long-standing staple in the world of motorsport and is known for their wide variety of brake pads ranging from sprint to endurance.
DS-Perfomance
for track & street
Alongside the many racing-use-only pads, which can be bought heat cycled as well, Ferodo produces the DS-Performance pads which are designed for Track driving as well as everyday street use. The main difference is the street legality. This compound combines many of the characteristics found in a pure racing material (high friction, absence of fade) but has improved cold performance, reduced disc wear and noise as well as lower brake dust generation.

SA and Ferodo work together for over 30 years in order to provide the best performance for the teams at the racetrack. Included in this effort is the testing of new prototype mixture pads which Ferodo engineers and BSA provides to the teams and receives feedback on the to-be products. Further than that BSA provides all Ferodo brake pads to both Formula and GT teams across the whole of Europe.
